Location - BKC Mumbai
Job Purpose:
Most products do not delight us because we consider them ‘done’ once they become easy to use (convenient). The best products push through and bring meaning and delight. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented product designer who can push the quality of our digital products beyond ‘convenience’ and make them award-worthy. They are strong practitioners of craft and collaboration. They carry strong product and design mindsets that help them create impactful products while collaborating and helping the team learn and grow into ace designers.
Responsibilities:
• User-Centric Design: Contribute to the end-to-end design process, from ideation and wireframing to high-fidelity, pixel-perfect UI designs, ensuring a user-centric approach.
• Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to bring design concepts to life and ensure successful product launches.
• Design Iteration: Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback, team critiques, user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis, refining and enhancing the user experience.
• Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency across products and features.
• Research Participation: Assist in user research activities, helping to gather insights that inform design decisions and improve product usability.
• Communication: Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Skills:
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and understanding of the design process.
• Design Skills: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and a solid understanding of design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, receiving and providing constructive feedback to achieve optimal design solutions.
• User Focus: Passion for user-centred design, with a willingness to learn and apply user research methodologies.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and requirements in a dynamic work environment. Ability to manage time and hustle.
• Portfolio: An online portfolio that documents your best work and thinking process (a PDF would do too). If not, you might be asked to take a design assignment.
Educational Qualifications:
Graduation: Any Graduation (preferably in Design)
Post-graduation: Any Post-graduation (preferably in Design)
Experience: 2 - 5 years
