Product Owner - HRMS-(Talent Management)


About the Role:


As a Product Owner for our HRMS solution, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of human resource management. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative HR solutions that drive business value in the areas of Performance Management, Competency Management, Learning Management, Total Rewards, Succession & Career Planning.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Product Vision and Strategy:

1) Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.

2) Identify market trends and customer needs to drive product innovation and differentiation.


  • Product Backlog Management:

1) Create and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring a clear and actionable roadmap.

2) Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements.

3) Break down complex user stories into granular user stories and acceptance criteria.


  • Agile Methodology:

1) Embrace Agile principles and practices, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver value iteratively.

2) Facilitate effective sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

1) Work closely with development, design, QA, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product delivery.

2) Collaborate with HR experts to understand industry trends and best practices.


  • Customer Focus:

1) Prioritize customer satisfaction and advocate for their needs.

2) Gather user feedback and analyse usage data to inform product decisions.


  • Data-Driven Decision Making:

1) Leverage data and analytics to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement.

2) Use data to inform product decisions and prioritize features.


Required Skills and Experience:


  1. Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment for at least 1-2 years.
  2. HR Domain expert and Strong understanding of Talent Management processes and challenges (Performance Management, Competency Management, Learning Management, Total Rewards, Succession & Career Planning.).
  3. Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  5. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise business terms.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience with HRMS or HR technology solutions is a plus.
