Manager- Ancillary Revenue

Job Description

IndiGo is looking for highly dynamic and self-motivated individual to be part of the Ancillary Revenue team. The individual will be responsible for the revenue and day to day operational activities for all existing fee based ancillary products (baggage, seats, lounges, upgrade, etc.) for the airline and help development of new ancillary products to achieve revenue targets set for ancillary products.

  • Identify new opportunities for ancillary revenue streams (follow market developments, benchmark competitor offers, unique service, etc.)
  • Conceptualize and implement products and services that lead generation of revenue, handle the integration of such product and services across all channels
  • Responsible for owning the product and coordinate with different internal and external stake holders while managing the end to end product go live process, Plan, execute and oversee UAT of different product and functionalities across all channels, ensuring minimum or no production issues
  • Develop and continuously refine the Product Content (Offerings, Terms & Conditions) and optimize the fee and charge levels, in line with competitive changes and customer demand. Propose and implement projects for improvement of existing ancillary products.
  • Monitor the attach rate of every ancillary service revenue with the air-ticket on a daily and monthly basis and continuously devise strategy to increase the attach rates by routes and customer segment.
  • Organize marketing and awareness campaigns for ancillary products targeting different stakeholders such as end consumers, trade partners, contact center, airport staff, and app website based promotions, etc. in order to increase the attach rate
  • Work with in-house configuration team for all configuration settings and changes for Ancillary products
  • Responsible for performing the project management for all ancillary related projects and ensure timely delivery, make product presentations, extensive product documents for all important stakeholders

Education

  • Post graduate degree/diploma in commerce/business discipline

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience handling e-commerce products at Airline, Online Travel agencies, Travel technology companies
  • Should be well versed with fundamentals of digital marketing and working knowledge of relevant tools
  • High degree commercial acumen with an ability to analyse large data
  • Knowledge of tools such as Tableau, power BI, will be considered as an additional advantage
  • Must be good at Product and Project and management, ability to lead the projects independently
