The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's strategic initiatives, improving internal communication, and facilitating decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Support:Serve as a strategic advisor to the COO, providing insights, recommendations, and feedback on key business decisions.Assist in setting and communicating the organization’s strategic priorities and translating them into actionable goals.Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment across different departments.
Operational Efficiency:Oversee daily operations of the executive office, ensuring smooth workflows and effective time management for the COO.Manage executive calendars, prioritize appointments, and coordinate meetings with key stakeholders.Prepare and review documents, reports, and presentations for executive meetings and board sessions.
Project Management:Lead and manage special projects as directed by the COO, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.Track progress on key initiatives and report on outcomes to the executive team.
Communication:Act as a liaison between the COO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.Draft and edit communications, including emails, speeches, presentations, and reports on behalf of the COO.Facilitate executive team meetings, including setting agendas, capturing meeting minutes, and following up on action items.
Team Leadership:Provide leadership and guidance to teams working on strategic initiatives, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Mentor and develop staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, investors, partners, and clients.Represent the COO in meetings and events as needed.
Risk Management:Identify potential risks and challenges in the organization’s strategic and operational plans and propose mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with organizational policies and external regulations.
Education:MBA from Top B School
Experience:Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a strategic, operational, or leadership role, preferably within a high-growth company.Proven experience in project management, strategy execution, and team leadership.
Skills:Exceptional organizational and time management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in using project management and communication tools (e.g., Asana, Slack, Microsoft Office)
