Position Summary:
The Restaurant Captain is responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences by ensuring attentive service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and handling guest feedback professionally. They play a key role in building guest loyalty, resolving concerns, and overseeing service standards to create memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations & Service Excellence:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a personalized dining experience.
- Establish rapport with guests to build loyalty and gather constructive feedback.
- Proactively address guest concerns and resolve complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ensure guest preferences and special requests are accommodated effectively.
- Assist guests with table reservations, seating arrangements, and menu recommendations.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide timely service that exceeds expectations.
- Communicate with guests using positive and professional language.
- Maintain a pleasant dining atmosphere by ensuring smooth coordination with service staff.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring adherence to presentation and quality standards.
- Train and mentor junior staff to enhance service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, hygiene standards, and health regulations.
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to improve guest engagement strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in handling guest relations in a hospitality setting.
