Job Description: Key Account Manager - E-commerce
Location: Gurgaon / Bangalore
Industry: Consumer Electronics (LED TVs, Home Theaters, Gadgets, and Lifestyle Products)
Role Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager - E-commerce to oversee and manage the end-to-end business relationships with key e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and other online retail players. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, optimize sales performance, and strengthen the company's presence in the competitive consumer electronics and lifestyle categories.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key e-commerce partners (Amazon, Flipkart, and others).
Act as the primary point of contact for all account-related discussions and escalations.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
Identify opportunities to maximize sales through product assortment, promotions, and campaigns.
Planning & Execution:
Create annual business plans for e-commerce accounts, including revenue forecasts, promotional budgets, and marketing investments.
Ensure the timely listing of new products and optimize the digital shelf (content, pricing, visibility).
Market Analysis:
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to develop actionable insights.
Analyze sales performance and implement corrective actions to address gaps.
Inventory & Logistics Coordination:
Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure seamless product availability and timely fulfillment.
Minimize stockouts and overstock situations by effectively managing inventory levels.
Marketing & Promotions:
Work closely with marketing teams to conceptualize and execute campaigns, offers, and visibility initiatives.
Manage ad budgets on e-commerce platforms to ensure high ROI.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with platform policies, agreements, and terms.
Provide regular reports on key metrics such as sales, conversion rates, and operational efficiency to senior management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, platforms, and analytics.
Proven track record in sales and account management, ideally in consumer electronics or lifestyle products.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and actionable insights.
Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
4-7 years of relevant experience in e-commerce account management, preferably handling Amazon, Flipkart, or similar platforms.
Experience in managing consumer electronics or lifestyle product categories is a strong advantage.
