Job Title: Proposal Engineer (Mechanical / Environmental Engineering) About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Proposal Engineer with experience in Water Treatment Plants (WTP) , Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) , and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) . The role involves preparing preliminary cost estimates , Bill of Quantities (BOQ) , and tender documentation during the proposal stage of treatment plant projects. Scope of Work: Prepare preliminary technical and commercial estimates for WTP, STP, and ETP during proposal and bidding phases Develop detailed BOQs and pre-tender estimates Assist in compiling complete tender documentation Coordinate with internal engineering and sales teams to gather required inputs Support senior engineering staff in the preparation of techno-commercial proposals Ensure compliance with technical standards and client specifications Qualifications: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in: Mechanical Engineering Environmental Engineering Electrical Engineering (with relevant experience) Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a Water Treatment company Strong understanding of treatment plant process design, costing, and estimation Familiar with industry standards and proposal documentation requirements Key Skills: Estimation and costing of WTP/STP/ETP systems BOQ preparation and interpretation of drawings/specifications Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components used in water treatment Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and estimation software tools
