Job Title: Proposal Engineer (Mechanical / Environmental Engineering)About the Role:We are seeking a motivated Proposal Engineer with experience in Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP). The role involves preparing preliminary cost estimates, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation during the proposal stage of treatment plant projects.Scope of Work:Prepare preliminary technical and commercial estimates for WTP, STP, and ETP during proposal and bidding phasesDevelop detailed BOQs and pre-tender estimatesAssist in compiling complete tender documentationCoordinate with internal engineering and sales teams to gather required inputsSupport senior engineering staff in the preparation of techno-commercial proposalsEnsure compliance with technical standards and client specificationsQualifications:Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:Mechanical EngineeringEnvironmental EngineeringElectrical Engineering (with relevant experience)Experience:Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a Water Treatment companyStrong understanding of treatment plant process design, costing, and estimationFamiliar with industry standards and proposal documentation requirementsKey Skills:Estimation and costing of WTP/STP/ETP systemsBOQ preparation and interpretation of drawings/specificationsKnowledge of mechanical and electrical components used in water treatmentProficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and estimation software tools
