A Territory Manager in the Linen Management industry oversees the operations, client relationships, and service delivery across a designated geographic area. This role requires a blend of operational expertise, leadership, and client management skills. Below is a typical job description for the role:


Job Title: Territory Manager – Linen Management

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management :
  • Oversee Linen management operations for multiple client sites within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor and manage day-to-day activities, including housekeeping, maintenance, security, and other FM services.
  1. Team Leadership :
  • Recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff and supervisors.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide necessary coaching to improve productivity.
  • Ensure teams are motivated and adhere to operational standards.
  1. Client Relationship Management :
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients within the territory.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Identify client needs and recommend value-added services.
  1. Budgeting and Financial Management :
  • Prepare and manage budgets for Linen operations.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Generate periodic reports on financial and operational performance.
  1. Business Development :
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within the territory.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to pitch and secure new contracts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry contacts.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management :
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to minimize risks.
  • Implement corrective actions for identified gaps.
  1. Reporting and Analytics :
  • Generate regular operational reports for senior management and clients.
  • Track KPIs to evaluate the efficiency and quality of services.
  • Utilize data to forecast operational requirements and improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Housekeeping,  Linen management, operations, or a related domain.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with FM software/tools.
