This requirement is specifically for its Education line of business.


Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid position for a Business Development Specialist based in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. While the role is primarily work-from-home, the selected candidate will be required to visit client locations within and outside Mumbai for meetings and presentations as necessary.


The role focuses on identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities within academic and technology sectors. This involves engaging with decision-makers, understanding their challenges, and proposing tailored solutions to drive innovation and commercialization. The ideal candidate will thrive in consultative sales and building lasting relationships; and will subsequently have opportunities to grow within the company and take on larger responsibilities in business development and client management.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in SaaS or technology solutions.
  • Prior experience in engaging with government bodies and public institutions (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property, research commercialization, or innovation workflows (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in lead generation and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and provide excellent service.
  • Ability to work independently, with effective organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Willingness to day-travel as needed for client meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
