In the capacity of Engineer/Sr. Engineer-Sales you will be responsible to focus on analysing the Industrial Automation industry trends and capture the market to foster sales in the specific timeframe. To deliver long term business strategy with entire range of Omron products & its solutions in order to penetrate the potential market in the region & leverage Omron strength.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible to achieve sales and order booking targets in the assigned region- Prepare and implement business plans monthly, quarterly and annually- Create and execute account plans for all the customers and update on quarterly basis- Develop new customers in the assigned region by using solution sales approach through customer visits/ calls- Planning and forecasting of sales on monthly / quarterly and yearly basis for assigned customers- Increase in-house business shares in existing customers- Responsible for conducting Tech days/Seminars at key customers.- CP (Channel Partner) / System integrators / SOP (Solution partners)/ distributors management in consultation with Channel Management Department (CMD)- Direct customer/CP Credit term, Credit limit control for the region in consultation with the CMD- Develop & maintain good relationship with Customers and Channel Partners- Maintain and analyse region and industry specific data as per business needs.- Prepare various MIS reports, presentations, etc. as per requirements.- eCRM hygiene and logging data in to GSFA (SFDC) and regularly updating the same.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

- B.E OR Equivalent Diploma, MBA in any stream will be an added advantage.

Work Experience:

- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in sales portfolio in the Industrial Automation Industry, handling OEM and End-user customers in the Automotive segment.

Functional Skills:

- Should have core technical knowledge of PLC, Servo, HMI, Vision, Safety, Sensors, Components- Basic Knowledge Robotics Knowledge(Added Advantage)- Experience in dealing with OEM's and EU's.- Experience in dealing with Channel Partners, Direct Customers, and System Integrators.- Should have good presentation skills and negotiation skills- Competent in handling product demos and Technical queries for customers.- Good working knowledge of MS Office, and Excel.- Good Communication & Presentation skills with an eye for details.

Behavioral Skills:

- Sense of Urgency, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments.

Travel Requirements:

- Needs to travel across Karnataka for business purposes.
