Job Summary:

The IT helpdesk Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. This role involves coordinating tasks, managing schedules, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring that project activities run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have basic IT knowledge and strong organizational skills to assist in coordinating project activities across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Support:

  2. Assist the IT project manager in planning, executing, and closing IT projects.

  3. Help create project time lines, schedules, and milestones.

  4. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  5. Documentation & Reporting:

  6. Maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.

  7. Track project deliverable and ensure that deadlines are met.

  8. Prepare project status reports for management.

  9. Team Coordination:

  10. Coordinate between different project teams and departments to ensure project tasks are completed.

  11. Schedule and organize meetings, both internal and with external stakeholders.

  12. Assist in managing resources, including staff, equipment, and software licenses.

  13. Communication:

  14. Serve as a point of contact for project-related queries.

  15. Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including IT staff, management, vendors, and clients.

  16. Address project issues and escalate them to the project manager as needed.

  17. Task Management:

  18. Assign tasks to team members and monitor their progress.

  19. Help troubleshoot minor technical issues or coordinate with the IT team for resolution.

  20. Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and procedures.

  21. Basic IT Support:

  22. Assist with minor IT tasks such as software installations, system configurations, or troubleshooting issues.

  23. Coordinate with the technical team for hardware or software procurement.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

(Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and work experience).

Experience:

  • Previous experience in project coordination or administrative support (experience in IT projects is a plus).

  • Basic understanding of IT concepts, systems, and software.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of IT systems, networking, software, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18, ₹20,000.00 per month
