Hyperlocal Business Manager
with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce, hyperlocal business or category management.
This role focuses on optimizing last-mile delivery, expanding hyperlocal networks, enhancing customer buying experience for Eastman products and achieving sales and operational KPIs in a hyperlocal setup. The position will be responsible for seamless operations across targeted regions, vendor management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to build a sustainable, scalable and profitable hyperlocal business model for Eastman.

Role & Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Planning:Develop and execute hyperlocal business strategies to drive sales of batteries, inverters, and solar products.Identify high-potential geographies and consumer clusters for targeted hyperlocal operations.Design promotional campaigns tailored for hyperlocal markets to drive awareness and adoption.
2. Vendor and Partner Management:Identify, onboard, and manage partnerships with local dealers, distributors, and service providers.Negotiate favorable terms with logistics and delivery partners to ensure cost-effective operations.Establish relationships with solar installation partners for bundled service offerings.
3. E-commerce Channel Optimization:Collaborate with the e-commerce team to optimize product listings, pricing, and promotional strategies for hyperlocal markets.Ensure smooth integration of hyperlocal delivery features within e-commerce platforms.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery timelines, customer satisfaction scores, and order fulfilment rates.
4. Operations & Logistics:Streamline last-mile delivery processes for timely and accurate order fulfilment.Develop SOPs for inventory management and replenishment at local hubs.Work closely with logistics teams to ensure efficient handling of bulky items like inverters and batteries.
5. Customer Experience:Ensure excellent post-purchase support, including product installation and service.Address and resolve customer escalations on time.Implement feedback loops to continuously improve hyperlocal services.
6. Market Analysis & Insights:Conduct competitive analysis to understand pricing, delivery, and customer preferences in hyperlocal markets.Provide actionable insights to improve sales and market share in the category.Track and analyze hyperlocal sales data, and prepare detailed performance reports.
Experience & Skills:
A proven track record with at least 5 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, hyperlocal business or category managementStrong understanding and experience in managing bulky goods such as batteries, inverters or solar products is highly desirable.A proven track record of achieving sales and operational KPIs in hyperlocal setup.
Educational Qualification
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, E-commerce, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and hyperlocal delivery models.Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, Google Analytics, and CRM software.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Revenue growth from hyperlocal operations.Reduction in last-mile delivery costs.Improvement in customer satisfaction and NPS (Net Promoter Score).Increase in partner network size and efficiency.Fulfilment rate and on-time delivery metrics.
