Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Business Development to lead our revenue growth strategy by building, developing, and managing a high-performing sales and business development team. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive SaaS sales experience, leadership acumen, and a proven ability to build strong client pipelines and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Client & Market Expansion: Build a sales pipeline, identify new market opportunities, and create strategies to expand our SaaS offerings to larger enterprises and strategic accounts.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (CMOs, Sales Directors, Marketing Heads) to understand business challenges and position our solutions.
- Revenue Management: Set and achieve revenue goals, sales forecasts, and KPIs.
- Sales Process Optimization: Streamline the sales pipeline, implement tools, and optimize processes to increase conversion rates and reduce the sales cycle.
- Strategic Partnerships: Explore and establish partnerships to strengthen market presence and increase reach.
- Product Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align on customer needs, product roadmap, and feedback integration.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly analyze, measure, and report on team performance, revenue forecasts, and customer acquisition trends.
- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development and sales strategy to drive revenue growth across target markets.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- 9-10 years of proven experience in B2B SaaS sales and business development, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of SaaS tools for marketing, sales automation, CRM, customer engagement, or hyperlocal SEO.
- Demonstrated success in scaling revenue, building teams, and closing large enterprise deals.
- Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of sales and marketing processes, workflows, and the buyer's journey.
