Sr. Sales Executive / Sales Manager – Rama Mining Tools Job Description** Position Overview The Sales Manager at Rama Mining Tools (RMT) will be responsible for driving sales, developing new markets, and strengthening customer relationships for our range of pneumatic tools, rock drilling tools, demolition tools, and mining/ construction equipment accessories . The role involves strategic planning, dealer network expansion, customer engagement, and market intelligence within the mining, construction, tunneling, and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Revenue Growth Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Promote the full range of RMT pneumatic tools, rock drill bits, drill rods, breakers, chisel tools, and accessories . Identify new business opportunities with mining contractors, construction companies, tunnelling agencies, and infrastructure developers. Conduct sales visits, product demos, and technical discussions with end users. 2. Dealer/Distributor & Channel Management Establish, manage, and expand the distributor and dealer network in assigned territories. Provide training on RMT products, applications, and usage best practices. Monitor dealer performance, ensure stock availability, and support marketing activities. 3. Customer Relationship Management Build strong relationships with procurement heads, site engineers, supervisors, and channel partners. Handle customer inquiries, follow up on quotations, and support the sales cycle from lead to order. Resolve customer concerns with coordination from technical and service teams. 4. Market Development & Intelligence Analyze market trends, competitor products, pricing strategies, and customer requirements. Provide management with insights for product improvement and new product development. Identify new regions and sectors where RMT products can be introduced. 5. Coordination & Internal Support Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams for timely dispatches and order fulfillment. Collaborate with marketing for exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional campaigns. Submit daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports, forecasts, and visit updates. 6. Team Leadership Guide field sales executives in achieving their targets. Conduct product training sessions and support the team in major negotiations. Requirements Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of mining tools, pneumatic tools, rock drilling equipment , and industrial consumables. Proven sales experience in mining/construction equipment or heavy engineering products. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong market understanding, especially of mining belts and construction zones. Ability to travel extensively to mines, construction sites, and dealer locations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Business Management (preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong). 5–10 years of experience in industrial or mining equipment sales.
