Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Executive - Retail Sales to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our retail sales operations, driving growth in the local market and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our strategic goals while advancing your career in sales within the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute retail sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share in Bangalore and surrounding regions.
- Identify and pursue new retail opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
-Should be willing to travel and maintain clients across a 200 km territory around Bengaluru.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing retail clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies, campaigns, and materials to support retail sales initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective and existing clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and results using CRM software.
- Coordinate with internal departments including production, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and timely delivery of products.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the manufacturing industry, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel locally as required.
