Role Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Business Development Manager to drive growth in our corporate gifting division. The role requires building strong corporate relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing innovative and customized gifting solutions for employee engagement, client appreciation, events, and festive occasions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new corporate clients across industries
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consultative selling.
  • Understand client needs and propose customized gifting solutions (festive hampers, merchandise, eco-friendly products, branded items, employee rewards).
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing negotiations to close business deals.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
  • Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging product categories.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to organizational growth.
  • Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasts.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability in B2B sales and client relationship management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the corporate gifting industry, vendor ecosystem, and product categories.
  • Creative mindset to propose innovative and personalized gifting solutions.
  • Highly driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4-7 years of experience in Business Development / Sales, in corporate gifting, promotional merchandise, or event solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong corporate client network is a plus.
