*Requirements:*

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A

Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role.

Experience in cattle feed, agri input, FMCG, farm implements is preferred.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to analyze market data and sales metrics.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Key responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and expand the customer base.

- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and potential challenges. Adjust sales strategies accordingly.

- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics. Prepare regular reports on sales activities, performance, and market conditions for senior management.

- Budget Management: Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive and effective sales operations.

- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close major sales deals. Ensure terms and conditions meet both company and customer needs.

- Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products/services and network with potential clients.

- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and ROI to senior management.
