The Role

We're seeking a dynamic Head of English Department who can take English learning beyond the textbook — designing and leading an innovative curriculum, mentoring teachers, and bringing language alive through storytelling, drama, role plays, creative writing, and experiential learning .

What You'll Do


• Design a rich, interactive English curriculum aligned with Samskriti's ethos


• Lead & mentor a passionate team of English teachers


• Bring stories to life through role plays, dramatizations, reading circles, and projects


• Integrate cultural values into language learning


• Assess creatively — focusing on participation, communication, and imagination, not just exams

What You Bring


• Bachelor's/Master's in English or Education (B.Ed/TEFL/CELTA preferred)


• 4–5 years' school teaching experience + curriculum design expertise


• Proven skill in interactive teaching (storytelling, theatre, role plays, etc.)


• Excellent written & spoken English


• Leadership skills and a passion for holistic education
