Job Title: Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team at one of the leading Chemical Manufacturing Companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and business development of pharma excipients with pharmaceutical, life science and biopharmaceutical companies.
  • Achieve sales targets (revenue, volume and gross profit) and organizational goals annually.
  • Provide regular updates to management on sales activities and results.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to improve profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor pricing and products.
  • Servicing existing accounts, acquiring new orders and developing new business opportunities for Pharma excipients.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through training, industry publications and networking.
  • Manage account receivables, I & C forms, customer complaints and rejections.
  • Develop and grow commercial relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities to increase market penetration.
  • Forecast sales to inform operations planning and introduce product innovations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales & Business Development.
  • Experience in Sales & Business Development of pharma excipients to Pharmaceutical, Life Science & Biopharma companies is essential.
  • Familiarity with Pharmaceutical product development and manufacturing operations.
  • Frequent travel required (50% or more).
