We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Full-time/ Part-time HR & Operations Specialist with 4–5 years of professional experience for a period of 6 months . As an HR & Operations Specialist you will work collaboratively with local leadership and other stakeholders to ensure employee data management, payroll administration, compliance, and employee onboarding & offboarding for a small team of 17-18 employees. The role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records within the internal HR systems and databases
- Co-manage the recruitment process including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting and scheduling interviews and facilitate the hiring process.
- Oversee the complete onboarding process for new hires and offboarding process for leavers
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance and effective administration of payroll and benefits.
- Support with company reimbursement process and effective and timely payout
- Conduct regular audits and assessment to identify areas of non-compliance, mitigate risks and implement corrective actions
- Answer inquiries and support the team members with requests
- Timely maintenance of absence requests in the appropriate HR systems
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resource Management (MBA in HR is strongly preferred) is preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 2–5 years of experience in an HR and/or Operations role (Consulting firm experience is a plus)
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
- Exceptional presence and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion
Additional Considerations
- Role will be based out of Mumbai and presence in Mumbai is a non-negotiable prerequisite
- We are in flex-commute mode and work from office twice a week (though an uncommon additional day may be required for business reasons). Work from Home (WFH) could be an option for the right candidate.
- This role will provide an opportunity to support a blue chip consulting team and be involved in a multi-continent Operations and HR group
