Position Summary: We are seeking an empathetic and proactive Employee Relations Assistant to join our HR team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about fostering a positive work environment and resolving employee issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Assist in managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.
  • Policy Implementation: Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures to promote a fair and respectful workplace.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with employees to understand their concerns and provide support.
  • Mediation: Facilitate mediation sessions between employees and management to resolve conflicts amicably.
  • Compliance: Ensure all employee relations activities comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and ensure confidentiality.
  • Training: Assist in developing and delivering training programs on conflict resolution, workplace behavior, and employee rights.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on employee relations activities and provide insights for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field.
