Job Description:
Multinational manufacturer of electromechanical components like starters, ignition products, alternators, and starter motors seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager to lead our Key Account Sales team focused on the 2-Wheeler segment.
Responsibilities:
1. Key Account Management: Take ownership of managing and nurturing key client relationships within the 2-Wheeler segment. Develop a deep understanding of client requirements, market trends, and competitive landscape to offer customized solutions and enhance client satisfaction.
2. Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with the sales leadership team to devise and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the specific needs of the 2-Wheeler market segment. Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and explore avenues for acquiring new clients.
3. Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets and maximizing sales opportunities within assigned key accounts in the 2-Wheeler segment. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
4. Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations with key clients to secure favourable terms and agreements. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all contracts and agreements related to the 2-Wheeler segment.
5. Market Analysis: Stay updated on market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor activities within the 2-Wheeler segment. Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities and threats.
6. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team focused on the 2-Wheeler segment. Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance while working closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to deliver integrated solutions.
7. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to track progress against targets. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities within the 2-Wheeler segment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with significant experience in key account management roles within the 2 Wheeler segment.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required.
