The Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced JIRA Administrator to join our team and play a critical role in supporting and maintaining our JIRA instance.

You will be responsible for the configuration, customization, and ongoing optimization of JIRA to ensure it effectively meets the needs of our project teams and facilitates efficient workflow management.

Responsibilities :

- Manage the JIRA installation (Cloud or Server) and ensure optimal performance and stability.

- Configure JIRA projects, workflows, issue types, and custom fields to align with specific project requirements and team processes.

- Create and manage user accounts and user groups, assigning appropriate permissions and access levels.

- Develop and implement JIRA dashboards and reports to provide valuable insights into project progress and team performance.

- Automate JIRA workflows and notifications to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

- Integrate JIRA with other Atlassian tools (Confluence, Bitbucket) and external applications to enhance collaboration and data flow.

- Provide ongoing support and training to JIRA users on functionalities and best practices.

- Troubleshoot JIRA issues and user problems, maintaining a smooth user experience.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in JIRA features and functionalities.

- Monitor system health and perform regular backups to ensure data security and disaster recovery.

- Document JIRA configurations and procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.

- Collaborate with project managers and development teams to understand their needs and tailor JIRA configurations accordingly.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree

- 4-7 years of experience in JIRA administration with a strong understanding of its functionalities and best practices.

- Proven experience in configuring JIRA projects, workflows, and issue types.

- Experience with user management, permissions, and access controls in JIRA.

- Experience with creating and customizing JIRA dashboards and reports.

- Familiarity with JIRA automations and scripting capabilities (a plus).

- Experience with integrating JIRA with other Atlassian tools and external applications (a plus).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

- A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the JIRA ecosystem.
