We are seeking a highly skilled JIRA Administrator with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our IT team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in administering, configuring, and maintaining JIRA instances.

This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a passion for optimizing workflow processes.

Key Responsibilities :

JIRA Administration :

- Manage and maintain JIRA instances, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

- Configure JIRA projects, workflows, schemes, screens, custom fields, and other project components.

- Implement JIRA best practices and recommend improvements to processes and workflows.

User Support and Training :

- Provide support to end-users by troubleshooting issues and answering questions.

- Conduct training sessions for new users and create user documentation.

- Develop and maintain user guides and training materials.

Integration and Automation :

- Integrate JIRA with other tools and systems (e.g. Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) to enhance productivity.

- Create and manage automation rules using JIRA Automation, ScriptRunner, or other tools.

- Develop custom scripts and plugins to extend JIRA functionality.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization :

- Monitor JIRA performance and proactively address potential issues.

- Conduct regular system audits and implement enhancements to improve efficiency.

- Optimize JIRA configurations to meet the changing needs of the organization.

Security and Compliance :

- Manage user permissions, roles, and access controls to ensure data security.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

- Perform regular security audits and implement necessary changes.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored JIRA solutions.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4 to 8 years of experience as a JIRA Administrator.

- Strong knowledge of JIRA administration, configuration, and customization.

- Experience with JIRA integrations and automation tools (e.g. ScriptRunner, JIRA Automation).

- Proficiency in developing custom scripts and plugins for JIRA.

- Familiarity with other Atlassian products (e.g. Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
