Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Banquet Manager in planning, organizing, and executing catered events and banquet functions. Ensures seamless food and beverage service, maintains high guest satisfaction, and supports efficient operations while supervising banquet staff and coordinating with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:Event Planning & Coordination

  • Assist in understanding client requirements for catered functions.
  • Work with the kitchen, service, and décor teams to design event flow.
  • Prepare function sheets, event schedules, and detailed banquet orders.

Operations Management

  • Supervise event setup, ensuring catering stations, seating, and décor are as per standards.
  • Oversee food and beverage service during events, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Ensure audio-visual, lighting, and other technical arrangements meet client needs.

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Assist in briefing banquet staff before each event.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure service standards are maintained.
  • Help train and mentor staff to enhance efficiency and professionalism.

Guest Interaction & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as an on-site point of contact for clients during events.
  • Resolve service issues, guest complaints, or last-minute changes quickly.
  • Ensure personalized guest service for high-profile or VIP events.

Financial & Inventory Control

  • Assist in managing catering budgets, billing accuracy, and cost control.
  • Monitor food, beverage, and equipment usage to prevent wastage.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of expenses.

Compliance & Quality Standards

  • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
  • Follow hotel SOPs and F&B service protocols to maintain quality benchmarks.

Employer Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in banquet operations, catering, or event management in hotels or resorts.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of F&B service standards and catering operations.
  • Excellent communication, client-handling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage teams and work under pressure.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Must be well-groomed with a professional demeanor.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22, ₹25,000.00 per month
