Job Summary:

The Senior Banquet Sales Executive is responsible for generating banquet business through proactive sales efforts, client relationship management, and event coordination. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, converting leads into bookings, and ensuring seamless execution of events in coordination with the operations and banquet teams.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new leads for banquet bookings from corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and walk-ins.
  • Conduct sales calls, site visits, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly banquet sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Understand client needs and customize banquet packages accordingly.

Event Coordination

  • Coordinate with banquet operations, kitchen, and support teams to ensure all event requirements are met.
  • Prepare event contracts, proposals, and function sheets in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow up with clients post-event to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Assist in creating promotional strategies and packages to attract new business.
  • Represent the property at trade shows, networking events, and industry expos when required.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales leads, client communications, and bookings using CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  • Ensure all payments, contracts, and approvals are completed prior to the event.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in banquet or event sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of banquet operations and event logistics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales/CRM software (e.g., Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹32, ₹45,000.00 per month
