JOB DESCRIPTION: Regional Senior Manager Position Overview Position Title Regional Senior Manager Department Bancassurance IBL Level/ Band 501/Senior Manager Role Summary : Liaise with Bank’s Regional officers and Zonal Officers and ensure alignment on Life Insurance Business Maintain Wallet Share as per desired benchmark Drive Productivity through Focus Products Visit zones and regions - interact with Zonal Officers, Regional Officers and Bank branch managers Guide and support team to ensure achievement of targets Interact with customers to explain the products and solutions Ensure activation, persistency & productivity is maintained. Ensure quality of recruits hired in the team Maintain & drive compliance at the zone Organizational Relationships Reports To National Sales Manager Supervises Area Sales Manager Job Dimensions Geographic Area Covered Region(s) Stakeholders Internal Supervisors, Reportees (DRs + One-Downs), Ops, Underwriting, Legal, Distribution Operations, Customer Service, Compliance, Zonal HR, Zonal IT External Channel Partner Key Result Areas Partner and Client Management Exceeding regional targets (NB, renewal, STP, digitization, product mix and other assigned targets) Interact with the Bank Regional Officer and his/her team to ensure alignment towards Tata AIA in life insurance Engage with customers to explain the products and promote the brand Ensure team is focused on Sales and support to all branches assigned. Drive local contests and sales events/programs Keep track of all contests and initiatives launched – bank, other insurers and Tata AIA Life Maintain a strong relationship with bank Regional Officers/ Heads and Bank Branch manager and SPs - interact with them regularly to assess business status. Take help from them to push & motivate them to maintain productivity Managing the relationship between internal team and channel partner to foster sales for the company and maintain utmost levels of responsiveness to requirements from the Channel Partner Aid the bank branches to adopt new processes and technology Effective Management of Escalations for the Region Team Management Assign target to each Area Manager at a branch level – New Business, renewal, STP, resolutions, special projects/initiatives undertaken, product mix. Ensure team is hands on with each branch and maintains a high engagement level with each member Team development and training Retention of high performing talent Tracking Competition and Keeping National Head updated about on–ground activities by Bank and competitors Customer service Ensure adequate customer service – grievance redressal, claim settlement, renewal etc. Ensure agreed Policy Issuance TATs are maintained by liaising with Ops & Underwriting teams. MIS & Reporting Analyze data cuts on Business Performance , share the findings with the National Head and develop strategy to fill gaps Risk Participate in risk mitigation plans, contingency planning, business continuity programs by executing and reporting within defined timelines. Highlight and recommend process gaps, flaws and process changes. Preferably needs to have PSU Banca sales experience in the insurance parlance.
