Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Accounts Manager to join our Ashland Life Sciences business at our Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Lifesciences function. This position will report to Regional Sales Director. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Territory – Gujarat, North India Salese experience 10 – 15 years Sales and business development of Ashland excipients with pharmaceutical, life science and biopharmaceutical companies. Preparation and achievement of sales target (Revenue, volume and gross profit) and organizational goals for every year Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call reports, monthly reports and annual territory analysis. Value selling, key account management and interpersonal skills to improve the profitability of our business Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques. Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and develop new accounts for Ashland excipients. Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals and focusing on performance and safety Improve the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with others. Forecast sales to enable operations planning, introduce product innovations and maintain active memberships.
