Responsibilities
As a Team Member, ensure that,

  • Ensure the 24X7 availability of all systems, applications, and infrastructure
  • Experience in windows & Linux OS installation, Software and Patch management
  • Strong knowledge on Redhat, Ubuntu & CentOS Linux operating systems
  • Good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels
  • Managed and installed software packages using APT/YUM and RPM/DEB created repository files for offline Workstation/servers.
  • Managing and maintaining patch management (Distribution of Patches, Hotfixes and other updates)and able to Troubleshoot and analyse the root cause of issues.
  • In-depth experience with Linux and Window families configurations and applications - imaging, deployment, and automations
  • Experience using GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience writing skill in bash script & python
  • Experience in Software Deployment tools (SCCM,Intune & Altiris)
  • Should have good working Knowledge in operating systems – Ubuntu,RHEL, Windows 11, Windows 2016 and 2019
  • Participate in anticipating, mitigating, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues on workstation in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory environment
  • Knowledge of Cloud desktop infrastructure
  • Review new technology according to company direction
  • Coordinate with other staff, to prioritise and work on continuing to improve existing systems
  • Track and input time on tickets
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Ability to speak to a non-technical audience about technical problems

Education/Training *

  • Graduation (BE/MCA/MSC IT) with no history of arrears .
  • Industry certifications (i.e. Microsoft & Linux)
  • ITIL Certificate

  • 2 to 4 + Years, relevant for Engineer Position
  • Experience with Linux Administration
  • Experience with Linux Patching
  • Experience with software package creation in Linux/windows.
  • Experience in linux automation.
  • Familiarity with a Landscape and Gitlab
