The Sustainability Business Specialist will drive Greenvironment's growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities in water and environmental sustainability solutions. This role combines business development and sales with a strong focus on sustainability-driven technologies such as smart water & energy management, wastewater automation, and IoT-enabled solutions. The candidate will work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to promote Greenvironment's offerings, achieve revenue targets, and contribute to positioning the company as a leader in sustainable water and environmental management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with prospective clients.
  • Ensure timely closure of deals and maintain strong follow-up for payments and renewals.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs, challenges, and sustainability goals.
  • Provide after-sales support in coordination with the customer success and projects team.
  • Collect client feedback and ensure solutions deliver measurable impact and ROI.
  • Stay updated on sustainability regulations, ESG requirements, and water/environmental management policies.
  • Educate clients on the value of sustainable practices and Greenvironment's technology-led solutions.
  • Promote OPEX/subscription-based business models that ensure lifecycle support for clients.
  • Work closely with project, product, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create case studies, success stories, and client references.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitors, and potential business segments.
  • Support the development of go-to-market strategies for new products and solutions.
  • Represent Greenvironment at industry events, sustainability forums, and exhibitions to promote the brand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in sustainability, water, or environmental solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and propose customized solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with target-driven approach.
  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting, ESG compliance, or IoT solutions will be an added advantage.
