Purpose of Job:

The Head of Partnerships will lead the partnerships team in identifying, establishing, and nurturing strategic partnerships that align with the company’s goals. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in partnership development, negotiation, and team management. The individual will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive growth, expand the company’s reach, and create mutually beneficial relationships.Job Components/Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership Development:Identify and prioritize potential partners that align with the company’s strategic objectives.Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that supports the company’s growth and revenue targets.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

Negotiation & Contract Management:

Lead negotiations for high-value partnerships, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with business goals.Oversee the drafting, review, and finalization of partnership agreements and contracts.Monitor compliance with partnership agreements and address any issues that arise.

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor the partnerships team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, regularly reviewing progress and providing feedback.Support professional development and career growth opportunities for team members.

Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with the tech, product, sales, credit, business operations and legal teams to ensure successful partnership integration and execution.Align partnership efforts with product development and marketing strategies to maximize impact.Communicate partnership achievements and challenges to senior management and other internal stakeholders.

Market & Industry Analysis:Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation through partnerships.Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team based on market analysis.

Budget Management:Develop and manage the partnerships team budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.Forecast partnership-related revenue and costs, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet financial goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully driving complex projects to completion.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
