Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the position of Area Sales Manager-Retail. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales activities related to the channels in the assigned area, achieve sales targets, and develop new customers. The role will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and liaising with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Retail channels for entire range of products in designated geography.
  • Work with relevant distributors, Outlets to generate product orders.
  • Handle Super market, Hyper Market and other Retail Channels for all SKU's.
  • Researching and identifying new sales opportunities in similar channels across geography.
  • Ensure management of existing accounts with regular intervention on billings to enhance sales growths.
  • Ensure timely submission of required data/reports and maintenance of accurate records, statistics and database of account information.
  • Handling email communications and B2C queries on new business development.
  • Ensuring availability of products through timely forecasting and interaction with cross functional departments.
  • New account acquisition through generating outbound B2C leads.
  • Maintain existing sales relationships and grow revenue from existing customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales in the Food sector.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets, developing new clients, and building strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and liaise with other departments to achieve common goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Flexibility to travel is a must.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is a must.
