Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients and generate leads for shipbuilding, retrofit, FSU/FSRU conversions, Transhipment conversions and drydock projects

  • Prepare tailored proposals, EOIs, and prequalification documents

  • Lead client presentations, capability pitches, and contract negotiations

  • Maintain and update market intelligence, competitor activities, and pipeline status

  • Support pricing strategies and commercial inputs for bids in coordination with technical and finance teams

  • Build strategic alliances and participate in industry forums, exhibitions, and maritime conferences

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (project, engineering, legal) for bid responses and tender submissions

  • Strong client relationship and communication skills

  • Commercial acumen and contract negotiation

  • Proposal writing and bid management

  • Market research and strategic analysis

  • Familiarity with technical basics of shipbuilding /conversions / Drydock

  • Networking and stakeholder management

  • Solution-oriented mindset

  • Time-bound execution of deliverables

  • Collaborative and persuasive working style

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Marine / Mechanical / Naval Architecture / Management

  • 10+ years of experience in business development roles in marine, EPC, ship repair, or offshore sectors with solid results
