Purpose of the Role
The Export Business Development Head (Europe) will lead Synokem Pharma's export business operations and strategic growth in the European market. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing regulatory and compliance requirements, building strong client relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth through partnerships and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead export business development operations for European countries.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth in Europe.
- Identify, evaluate, and finalize partnerships with distributors, agents, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with European regulatory standards (EMA, EU GMP, GDP, etc.).
- Manage product registration, dossier preparation, and regulatory submissions in Europe.
- Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and agreements with business partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA/QC, Finance) to ensure smooth business operations.
- Monitor export documentation, logistics, and supply chain to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitor activities in Europe.
- Represent Synokem at international exhibitions, trade fairs, and conferences.
- Mentor and guide the export business development team for Europe and ensure alignment with company goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy/Science/Business Management; MBA preferred.
- 20+ years of experience in export business development in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong experience handling European markets with knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Proven track record in business expansion, client relationship management, and revenue growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and supply chain management.
