Founded in 1985 by social entrepreneur and strategic philanthropist Shri. Shantilal Muttha, BJS over the years has demonstrated its impact by working at grassroots level through a nation-wide network of social entrepreneurs and with the help of its professional team, contributing to the policy-level thought process and decision making. BJS has rich experience working closely with the central, state and local governments and with national-level NGOs across the country. BJS identified water as a priority national concern in 2013 when Maharashtra faced one of the worst droughts in its history. To alleviate the impact on communities, BJS implemented large-scale drought mitigation programs across 24 districts of Maharashtra, creating massive water storage capacities by Rejuvenating water structures. It has also undertaken deep research to understand the issue further, working in partnership with State Governments, local administrations, village communities and other stakeholders. Learnings from this rich experience enabled BJS to develop transformative strategies for a district-wide water-sufficiency model, which demonstrated impact in two states – Maharashtra and Karnataka.
Position Overview:
The Franchise Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding our educational programs through the creation and promotion of new franchises. This position oversees the development, implementation, and management of franchise partnerships with educational institutes, ensuring alignment with our brand standards and educational objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Franchise Development:
Identify and target potential educational institutes for franchise partnerships.
Develop and execute strategies to establish new franchises, including negotiating agreements and securing locations.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with franchise laws and financial requirements.
Promotion and Marketing :
Create marketing plans and promotional materials to attract educational institutes to our franchise program.
Conduct presentations and meetings with potential franchisees to showcase our educational programs and benefits.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that enhance brand awareness and attract qualified franchise candidates.
Franchise Support:
Provide comprehensive support and guidance to franchisees during the establishment phase, including training on operational procedures and educational program implementation.
Monitor and evaluate franchise performance, providing ongoing support to optimize operations and achieve growth targets.
Networking and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institute decisionmakers, franchisees, and stakeholders.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our franchise program and identify potential partnerships.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our franchise network in targeted regions or markets.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in franchise development, sales, or business development, preferably within the education sector.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with prospective franchisees and attend industry events.
Knowledge of franchise laws, regulations, and best practices.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and develop actionable plans.
Remuneration :   Based on qualifications and experience.
