Human Resources Director will play a key role in managing and executing human resources functions within the university/school located in Bangalore. This individual will work closely to implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the university's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate should have a strong HR background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and develop a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection of candidates.- Develop and maintain effective onboarding programs for new hires.

Employee Relations:

- Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and fair manner.- Promote a positive work culture and resolve interpersonal conflicts.- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to improve retention rates.

Performance Management:

- Administer the performance appraisal process.- Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed.- Identify training and development opportunities for staff.

HR Policies and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.- Review and update HR policies and procedures as necessary.- Provide guidance to employees on HR-related matters.

Benefits Administration:

- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including healthcare and retirement plans.- Conduct benefits orientation and educate employees on available benefits.

Training and Development:

- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs.- Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs.- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

HR Reporting and Analytics:

- Generate and analyze HR reports to provide insights for decision-making.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.

Team Leadership:

- Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing guidance and support.- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Qualifications:

- MBA in HR- At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
