Job Description:

  • Presales Consultant will work closely with Leadership, Finance, Technology Team, Architects, Design and Sales to create original and winning proposals for industry problems Mantra is solving.
  • This person will be augmenting sales in discovery of problems and opportunities potential clients are facing and take it conversion.
  • Mantra being a lightweight and flat organisation, the person is expected to be a self starter and be willing to consult various departments with a singular goal of converting an opportunity to an account.
  • Must have understanding of Data, AI, Cloud and Serverless/Microservices architectures.
  • Manage RFI/RFP responses and work with sales, services, engineering, product, and finance teams to ensure on-time completion and delivery to clients.
  • Work with stakeholders to create proposed architecture, storyboarding, and operating model for the proposal alongside cross functional team of SMEs, architects, PM, UI/UX etc.;
  • Proactively create documentary artefacts like business cases, usage scenarios, competitive landscape, solution blue prints, FAQs, meeting notes...etc.
  • Transitions the deal to the delivery team post successful conversion - explains the agreed scope and deliverables to the delivery team to ensure a seamless customer experience.


Experience Range:

Educational Qualifications:

B.Tech/B.E, and MCA


Qualifications:

  • A technical degree (Engineering, MCA) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the software industry.
  • Past experience of delivering an IT project at a mid/senior role.
  • Experience working as a customer facing Presales consultant/ Sales Engineer in creating/writing technical solution contents/technical proposals/conducting Demo/POC for an IT Services Organisation.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) to demonstrate solution concepts via visual representations.
  • Technology: Have some experience with QA/Coding/Business Analyst roles in earlier organisations.
