You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure while also ensuring that our email communication channels are efficient, secure, and deliver messages effectively to recipients' inboxes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.- Implement security measures to safeguard network infrastructure against potential threats and vulnerabilities.- Manage email delivery systems and protocols to ensure emails are delivered successfully to recipients' inboxes.- Monitor email delivery metrics and analyze data to identify and resolve delivery issues, including bounce rates, spam complaints, and sender reputation.- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to optimize email content and strategies for improved deliverability.- Manage DNS configurations to support email deliverability, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.- Monitor DNS records for accuracy and compliance with industry standards to enhance email authentication and security.- Administer email servers and systems to ensure proper configuration, performance, and security.- Implement and maintain email authentication protocols to prevent spoofing and phishing attacks.- Troubleshoot email server issues and coordinate with relevant teams or vendors for resolution.- Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients regarding network and email-related inquiries and issues.- Develop and maintain documentation for network infrastructure, email systems, and related processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with a focus on network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.- Experience in email deliverability management, including knowledge of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, etc.), authentication methods (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and email marketing best practices.- Strong understanding of DNS management and configuration, including experience with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.- Proficiency in administering email servers (e.g., Exchange, Postfix, Sendmail) and familiarity with email security protocols and technologies.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network and email delivery issues effectively.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
