We are seeking an experienced Licensing Consultant. The ideal candidate will havestrong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Managementlicensing, with the ability to analyze, optimize, and ensure compliance with Microsoftlicensing requirements.Essential Functions:Collect and reconcile customer usage data against licensed entitlements to ensure complianceDetect discrepancies such as over-usage, under-usage, or compliance risks and provide remediation stepsProvide clear, actionable reports and insights to management, finance, procurement, and account teamsRecommend adjustments in license allocation to reduce costs and optimize usage across teamsForecast future licensing requirements based on usage trends and business growth plansReview Dynamics 365 security roles and map them accurately to license types (Operations, Team Member, Device, Activity, capacity-based entitlements)Perform data analysis using Excel, Power BI, and/or SQL to extract, validate, and reconcile licensing informationIdentify over-licensing or under-licensing risks and provide cost-saving recommendations while ensuring compliance with Microsoft rulesPartner with IT, Finance, and Procurement to implement optimization strategies and improve cost efficiencyCommunicate licensing requirements, risks, and optimization opportunities in both technical and business-friendly termsRequired Qualifications:Minimum 15 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years specializing in Microsoft licensing (Dynamics 365 preferred)Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management license types and entitlementsStrong experience in user role and security analysis within D365Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and/or SQL for license data analysis and reportingKnowledge of Microsoft licensing rules, compliance frameworks, and optimization best practicesStrong analytical skills with the ability to detect discrepancies and forecast licensing needsExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience working with finance and procurement teams for cost optimizationinitiativesPreferred Certifications:Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Solution Architect ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate
