Job Description Role & responsibilities - We are seeking a knowledgeable Dynamics 365 ERP Licensing Advisory Consultant to provide expert guidance on licensing models, infrastructure requirements, and adjacent Microsoft solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of D365 ERP modules and Microsoft cloud licensing frameworks, ensuring compliance and cost optimization for enterprise customers. Preferred candidate profile - Advise clients on D365 ERP licensing models across Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), HR, and Commerce (expertise in at least two modules required). - Provide guidance on D365 environment and infrastructure licensing, including deployment considerations. - Assess and recommend adjacent licensing models such as Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Azure dependencies. - Interpret and apply Microsoft Cloud licensing frameworks (CSP, Microsoft Customer Agreement, etc.). - Collaborate with functional teams to align licensing strategy with D365 ERP product capabilities. - Differentiate between D365 Finance & Operations (FnO), SCM, and other modules, including SMB vs Enterprise-level offerings. - Support cost optimization and compliance through accurate licensing assessments and documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong understanding of D365 ERP licensing models (Finance, SCM, HR, Commerce). - Knowledge of D365 infrastructure and environment licensing. - Familiarity with Power Platform, M365, and Azure licensing dependencies. - Basic understanding of Microsoft Cloud licensing frameworks (CSP, MCA). - Functional knowledge of D365 ERP products and their business processes. - Ability to distinguish between Enterprise vs SMB licensing models. - Excellent communication and advisory skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or ERP-related certifications. - Experience in licensing advisory for large enterprise deployments. - Exposure to cost optimization strategies and compliance audits.
