Job Summary:We’re looking for a Sales Associate who’s eager to learn, experiment, and grow. You’ll work closely with senior management and gain exposure across sales, client management, and market research—helping identify and convert real business opportunities in the B2 B chemical space.Key Responsibilities:- Research new markets, industries, and client segments for lead generation- Reach out to prospective clients via email, Linked In, and direct channels- Support sales team in preparing proposals, documentation, and data-driven pitches- Track sales KPIs like conversion rates, client response time, and upselling metrics- Coordinate internally with product, marketing, and logistics teams to drive deals to closure- Suggest process improvements and help implement CRM and sales systems- Present key sales insights and competitor research to leadership regularlyWho Should Apply:- Fresh graduates in Business, Commerce, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences, OR- Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in sales, BD, or client-facing roles- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Highly curious, proactive, and eager to learn- Bonus if you’ve worked with B2 B data tools, Linked In outreach, or CRM platforms- Comfortable using Excel or basic data analysis toolsWhy NCI:- Get hands-on sales experience in a global B2 B environment- Work directly with top leadership (IIM, Oxford, and MIT alumni)- Learn the end-to-end process of international sales and business development- Flat hierarchy, fast decision-making, and learning on the go- Be part of a legacy company that’s scaling with a startup mindsetLocation: Mumbai, Maharashtra (On-site)Experience: 0–2 yearsIndustry: Chemicals / Manufacturing / PharmaceuticalsFunction: Sales, Business Development, Market ResearchAbout the Company:Established in 1982, National Chemical Industries is one of India’s fastest-growing manufacturers of high-purity inorganic specialty chemicals.
