Role Overview
The Head of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing the entire F&B operations of the organization, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of quality, driving revenue growth, and leading a dynamic team across all restaurants, bars, banquets, and catering services. The role requires strategic planning, operational excellence, and strong leadership to deliver profitability while upholding the brand's reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all F&B outlets.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control to maximize profitability.
Financial & Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop and manage F&B budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative promotions, menu engineering, and upselling strategies.
- Analyze performance metrics (sales, customer feedback, P&L reports) and initiate improvements.
Guest Experience
- Ensure exceptional service standards and consistency across outlets.
- Address guest feedback promptly to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Introduce unique dining concepts and experiences aligned with market trends.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, train, and mentor F&B managers, chefs, and service staff.
- Foster a positive work culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Implement training programs to enhance service standards and staff development.
Business Development & Innovation
- Work closely with the marketing team to design campaigns, seasonal promotions, and special events.
- Research and implement global F&B trends to stay competitive.
- Build partnerships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and P&L.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of driving revenue and guest satisfaction in F&B operations.
