Role Description:
We are currently seeking a full-time E-Commerce Marketplace Manager to join our team in Gurugram to manage our in-house brand called Boho Girl. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales on various e-commerce platforms, such as Ajio, Flipkart, Myntra and Amazon among others . You will be tasked with creating and implementing strategies to increase our visibility,
manage product listings, pricing, and promotions, and oversee day-to-day operations on these platforms. As an on-site role, the E-Commerce Marketplace will collaborate with multiple teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, inventory management to meet organizational goals and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximize sales and profitability across various e-commerce platforms, including but not limited to Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Nykaa, Ajio.
Listing Optimization: Manage product listings on multiple marketplaces, ensuring they are optimized for search visibility, conversion rates, and compliance with platform guidelines. This includes optimizing product titles, descriptions, images, and other relevant content.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained across all marketplaces. Implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Regularly analyse key performance metrics such as sales, conversion rates, traffic, and customer reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive growth.
Price and Promotion Management: Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase competitiveness and drive sales on e-commerce platforms. Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to adjust pricing strategies as needed.
Order Fulfillment and Customer Service: Ensure timely order processing, shipping, and delivery of products to customers. Collaborate with logistics and customer service teams to resolve any issues related to order fulfilment, shipping delays, or customer inquiries.
Compliance and Policy Adherence: Stay updated on the latest policies, guidelines, and best practices of each e-commerce platform and ensure compliance in all aspects of marketplace operations, including product listings, advertising, and customer communications.
Relationship Management : B uild and maintain strong relationships with e-commerce platform representatives, third-party vendors, and other relevant stakeholders to leverage opportunities for growth and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and finance to align marketplace strategies with overall business objectives and ensure cohesive execution.
Qualifications
· A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
· At least 3-5 years of experience in E-Commerce Marketplace Management
· Hands-on experience with managing online marketplaces, such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Ajio & Shopify
· Strong analytical and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
· Knowledge of E-Commerce industry trends and best practices, including SEO, SEM.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
