Role Overview

The HR Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day HR operations, employee engagement, recruitment, compliance, and supporting strategic HR initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, people management abilities, and knowledge of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.

2. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Maintain healthy employee relations through open communication and conflict resolution.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities.
  • Address employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits.

3. HR Operations

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRMS/Excel.
  • Prepare and issue appointment letters, confirmation letters, and other HR documents.
  • Track attendance, leave records, and support payroll processing.

4. Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Assist in policy formulation and implementation.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR records and ensure adherence to labor laws.

5. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs in coordination with managers.
  • Organize skill development and soft skills training programs.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.

6. Performance Management

  • Support the appraisal and performance review process.
  • Assist in setting KRAs and monitoring employee performance.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HR operations, payroll, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools.
  • Problem-solving and conflict management ability.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience as an HR Executive or in a similar role.
  • Experience in the construction/infrastructure industry preferred.
