Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our IT support team as Senior MAC Support Engineer. As an engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing VIP on-site technical support and ensuring smooth operations within our organization. You will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, as well as delivering excellent customer service to end-users.

who should have good experience in User Experience & customer management + Desk-side Tech skills.

This role is split in 2 parts: 3 day support in Amsterdam office, and 2 day support of the Eindhoven office.

Responsibilities:

Ensures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards;

Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations;

Performs on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies;

Contribute input to infrastructure architecture;

Provide input infrastructure architecture designs;

Researches, designs, implements and tests technology solutions;

Collaborates with IT and business area partners on work groups and initiatives;

Troubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures;

Ensures execution and alignment to architectural standards and blueprints;

Resolves alerts and performs remediation activities;

Writes programming/scripting;

Determines migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors;

Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology (MAC);

Proactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies;

Assists with developing tactical strategies, processes and procedures related to systems/application administration.

Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions;

Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience;

Experience using Agile methodology;

Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities;

Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment;

Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately;

Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system (MAC). JAMF Certifications a plus;

Must have strong Apple product knowledge;

High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy;

Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration;

Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.

Drivers licence

Strong knowledge of Dutch and English

Een goede basiskennisvan onderstaande technologieën is een absolute must: Windows OS 7-10 & MS O365: Word, Excel, Outlook support Active Directory: account creatie, GPO’s kopiëren/aanpassen, ADFS principe, etc. Exchange server: mailbox creatie, issues met betrekking tot mailboxen, etc. Hardware: Desktop/Laptop, printer en scanner support Je bent een vlotte communicator in zowel het Nederlands, en het Engels.
