Role Description

This is a full-time Desktop Support Engineer role at CSK Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. located in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some remote work. The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.


Skills Reqd:-

  • Asset Management: Candidate must be aware of Asset Life Cycle & management of IT Assets.
  • Operating System Installation:  Install and configure operating systems on desktops and laptops.
  • PC Troubleshooting:  Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on PCs.
  • Part Replacements:  Perform hardware part replacements, including hard drives, memory, and other components.
  • Data Wiping:  Securely wipe data from devices in compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Ticket Management:  Track and manage support tickets in the queue, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Training:  Provide training and guidance to Level 1 engineers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.


Qualifications

  • Asset Life Cycle
  • Experience in desktop support, onsite, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, networking, and hardware components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
