Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities and partnerships, develop business policies, and contribute to the overall growth of our company. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to craft strategies that are scalable and compliant with regulatory standards. 

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools and techniques.
  • Client Interaction & Relationship Management:
  • Engage with prospective clients, understand their pain points, and position ConvoZen.AI as a solution.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Be accountable for end-to-end sales cycles, including demos, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, and operations) to align sales strategies with organizational goals.

Market Understanding:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market needs.
  • Provide feedback to the product team based on client interactions to help shape the roadmap.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Track sales metrics, meet or exceed targets, and report performance insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 4-8 years of sales experience in SaaS, tech solutions, or B2B industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Technology, Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Proven track record of lead generation and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset to understand client needs and align them with product features.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to take ownership of sales processes.
  • Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation software.
  • Basic understanding of conversational AI, SaaS platforms, or tech ecosystems is a plus.
