Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager at Avana Care. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. This includes managing resources, coordinating with various departments, ensuring efficient processes, and establishing policies and procedures. The role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager at Avana Care is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community, ensuring a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
- Create and manage staff schedules for adequate coverage.
- Foster a positive, teamwork-oriented work environment.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily community operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Manage community budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Ensure the community is well-maintained and safe.
Resident Care and Satisfaction:
- Ensure residents receive high-quality care and services.
- Address and resolve resident and family concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular assessments to meet resident needs
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare for and participate in inspections and audits.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Quality Improvement:
- Implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Analyze performance data and generate reports.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of operations management experience, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Hospitality Management and healthcare management
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Empathy and understanding towards residents and their families
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with different teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of industry best practices and standards
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Additional certifications or training in operations management is a plus
