The Senior Manager / Manager of Business Development & Sales will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share for the company. The role involves leading a team, building, and nurturing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.

(Team 1 primarily works as back-office catering to dispatch and support for their team which focuses mostly on industrial customer segment.)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed monthly and yearly sales targets.
  2. Monitor and analyze sales performance against set targets.
  3. Implement corrective actions to address any deviations from the sales plan.
  4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions and foster relationships with potential clients and partners.
  5. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  6. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and services.
  7. Oversee the customer communication strategy and ensure timely updates, order confirmations, and delivery schedules.
  8. Establish clear and measurable targets for sales teams, conduct regular reviews of team performance against set targets and provide constructive feedback and support for performance improvement.
  9. Ensure smooth handling all customer interactions for Industrial section clients.
  10. Ensure timely Contract Review process, ensuring completion.
  11. Ensure timely sharing of order status reports and activity schedules with customers for new developments.
  12. Oversee timely coordination with vendors/customers for submitting customer drawings, 3D models, testing, quality, and packing requirements per inquiry.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • 12-15 years of proven track record of success in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Technical / Functional Expertise & other competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of aerospace casting manufacturing processes and technologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
